Judge Training

WGAZ will again be working with renowned WGI educator and judge, Shirley Dorittie to provide continued training for our local winter guard judges. If you are interested in becoming a color guard judge or just interested in the judging process, this training is for you. The training dates are as follows:

When/Times: September 17

9/17: 10 am – 6 pm (Full Group)

Caption Specific: Recognition and Commentary Skills

September 18

9/18: 9 am-12:30 pm (Trainees)

Judging basics and the WGAZ judge trainee program

December 10

10 am – 6 pm (Full Group)

WGI system changes, Class Expectations, Applying the Criteria, Scoring, Contest/Season Dynamics.

Place: Williams Field HS
